Only Radar does not collect any data. No accounts. No tracking. No analytics. No advertising. No personal information ever leaves your device.
This Privacy Policy describes how Only Radar (“Only Radar,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information in the Only Radar mobile app and on this website. It is written to be simple, because the app is simple: it shows you weather radar and nothing else.
Data We Collect
None. Only Radar does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. We do not ask you to create an account or sign in. We do not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking software in the app.
In Apple App Store terms, Only Radar is declared as “Data Not Collected.” In Google Play terms, the app neither collects nor shares any user data.
Location
Only Radar can center the map on your current location when you tap the location button. If you grant location permission, your device’s location is used only on-device, in the moment, to position the map. We do not log it, store it, or send it to us or to anyone else. Location access is optional — the app works without it, and you can change or revoke the permission at any time in your device settings.
Saved Places
Any locations you save are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded to a server or shared with us. Deleting the app removes them.
Weather Radar Data
The app fetches public weather radar imagery (such as NOAA reflectivity data) to display on the map. These are ordinary requests for publicly available map and radar tiles. They are used solely to show you the radar and are not used to identify, profile, or track you.
No Tracking or Advertising
Only Radar does not track you across apps or websites, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not contain ads. We do not sell or rent any information, because we do not collect any.
Children’s Privacy
Because Only Radar collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. The app is safe for all ages in this respect and does not knowingly gather data from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change how the app handles information, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above. If a future version of the app were ever to collect data, we would update this policy first and request any required permissions clearly within the app.
